Oakridge Archers field archers are a club affiliated to the National Field Archery Society. The club is situated in the heart of rural Cheshire in the grounds of

Shrigley Hall Golf & Country Club, Bollington.

In the wood pictured above the club has a set practice course which is open all year and hosts open shoots for members of the NFAS.

The club has a membership of around 30 archers with three NFAS qualifed coaches of whch two are also Archery GB coaches.

A grant from the Lottery Sports Council enabled the club to purchase a number of 3D targets, catering equipment, and a small Toro agricultural truck, which is a great help when coaching and hosting the open shoots. The club has a policy of encouraging people of any age to enjoy the sport of field archery and beginners courses can be arranged by appointment.
